LTP Group is a strong, nationwide player in food logistics. The group includes the logistics companies LTP Logistics Oy and LTP Cargo Oy as well as Lännen Teollisuuspalvelu Oy.

The company’s customer base consists mainly of SMEs that purchase food storage, collection, transport and distribution services, and box washing services.

LTP Group has been working with One Leasing Finland for just under three years and has acquired several dozen trucks and a few trailers with leasing financing. Now it was time to purchase seven delivery trucks for food deliveries.

“We usually have very clear tunes. We only have one car supplier, always the same body model and the same refrigeration equipment. The purchase is usually a one-call affair,” says Matti Tuominen.

There is one important thing behind this ease – careful advance planning.

“We always make a procurement plan for the following year at the end of autumn. We apply for the funding decisions for it all at once. From there, together with the OLF team, we implement the procurement within the agreed timeframe,” Tuominen explains.

As clear as the design of the procurement is the form of financing.

“It is almost invariably a service lease for us. It’s hassle-free and comprehensive because it includes everything. I also like the fact that we don’t have to worry about the residual value of the car. We don’t want to start running a car dealership when the leasing period ends.”

As someone who makes a lot of equipment purchases, it is also important to Tuominen that he can trust his financing partner and their expertise.
